Heather Cox Richardson mentioned the WWII-era “Army Talk” pamphlet, an official publication of the US government, was designed to educate US service members on the dangers of fascism. So, I decided to track it down and read it. Pretty amazing.
Here’s the section on how to spot fascism. It is such an eerily accurate description of Trumpism that one has to wonder if they had a crystal ball.
