Yesterday, the Vice-President was deployed to defend the indefensible — the cold-blooded murder of an American mother by a federal agent who had no business interacting with her at all. He did so with truly appalling enthusiasm, smearing Renee Good as a terrorist who was part of a leftist network who deserved to be killed for refusing to obey a masked thug with a gun.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez was asked about his attacks by the media on Capitol Hill, and she had a simple but powerful response:
“I understand that VP Vance believes shooting a young mother of three in the face three times is an acceptable America that he wants to live in, and I do not. That is a fundamental difference between VP Vance and I. I do not believe the American people should be assassinated in the street.”
There is no amount of blood shed, limbs shattered, lives lost, or freedoms infringed that the Republican Party will not tolerate or even celebrate in its mad lust for power and the greed that motivates it.
The choice between Democrat and Republican is the choice between civilization and barbarism.
Please, America, please make the right choice in November.
